A sujet des corvettes, j'ai lu une bonne nouvelle sur le site d'infocourse : une C5R privée .. SI SI [img]smile.gif[/img] ex usine (n°Chassi ?) serait engagée au mans en juin prochain .En sait on un peu + [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

Création d'une nouvelle équipe en ALMS qui engagera 2 Porsche en GT : le Flying Lizard Motorsports. 2 pilotes sont désignés : Johanes Van Overbeek et Darren Law.

D'après le forum DSC, pas de voiture Graham Nash Motorsport en FIA GT, ni en LMES. Mais par contre, 2 Saleen sont prévues chez Konrad, avec pourquoi pas un retour en force de notre Jean-Marc national... Espérons qu'il retrouve un volant digne de son talent.

Herbert out of American Le Mans series


Herbert enjoyed success in the US
Britain's Johnny Herbert has lost his drive with the ADT Champion Audi team in the American Le Mans Series.
He was widely expected to retain his spot alongside 2003 partner JJ Lehto after four victories left them as runners-up in the championship.

But while Lehto has kept his job, the second seat has gone to reigning champion Marco Werner.

He won the title last year with the Joest Audi team who left the ALMS for German Touring Car Championship.

A Champion team spokesman said: "Audi Sport has placed its factory drivers with customer teams for this season so we're delighted to have Marco who did a fantastic job in winning the ALMS title at his first attempt last season."

Herbert's main hope of a regular top drive appears to lie with Audi UK, who have one vacant seat for their two-car Le Mans Endurance Series squad.

But he will face competition from a fellow former F1 driver, Scotland's Allan McNish.

Lola announce new generation sportscar -- B05/40 is go for 2005

Lola Cars International Ltd has announced plans to build a new sportscar model to compete in International endurance competition beginning in 2005. The new B05/40 will be eligible for the Le Mans 24 Hour race’s new LMP2 category as well as the ACO’s new Le Mans Endurance Series reviving the 1000 km/6-hour format of sportscar racing’s 1960s heyday. The new car will also be eligible to compete in the American Le Mans Series.


The initiative follows Lola’s success in the SR2 and LMP675 categories in recent seasons, which has seen multiple race victories and titles for its B2K/40 (SR2) model and the stunning Lola-MG LMP675 that challenged and beat the previously all-conquering Audi R8 design at Sears Point in July 2003.
