I am doing some research on OSCA cars

I saw on your page that the OSCA car that competed in the LM in 1955 had chassis number N°1157

I know for sure that a few months before LM an OSCA car with chassis N°1157 raced in Florida at Sebring

And my question is how can we know for sure which OSCA was in the LM race, is there any archive that has this data from 1955?
Did they check the chassis numbers of all the cars that participated in the race?

I know that in the Mille Miglia race in 1955 there was an OSCA car that was completely identical in terms of body to the OSCA that was in the LM race. But the records say it was OSCA N°1163.
I am trying to find out if OSCA N°1163 was in LM and not N°1157

Selon les recherches internet, l'Osca de Sgorbati aux Mille Miglia 1955 et au Mans 1955 (c'est exactement la même carrosserie) est le châssis 1169, parfois 1163 mais le 1163 est aussi attribué à l'ex-1174 en 1957. Je penche pour 1169 mais avec une incertitude. Je ne sais pas d'où vient 1157 pour la voiture du Mans 1955.

It can't be 1169, in all records 1169 appears for the first time in the USA, it was sold in the summer of 1955 to the USA
In addition, the engine that participated in LM race was 1157's for sure
The big question is if there were 2 identical cars with the exact same body with two different chassis numbers (perhaps one of them eventually got the chassis number 1169 that was sold to the USA)

The license plate that was in the LM race was from New York, meaning it was already registered in New York

For sure in the LM race the car that participated had a chassis number different from 1169, and I am trying to find out what the chassis number of that car is.
The question is whether there is any archive that will hold this information.
I believe that at the time they wrote down everything.
