The generator is driven of the right rear brake drum. Everything that is not structural has been drilled for lightness, even the emergency brake mechanism, and the wheel hubs. The car is an all aluminum race car with a tube chassis and ball "over center" jacking points front and rear. It is a small car, about the size of an MG with a full belly pan. It is right hand drive with Veglia instruments and a steering wheel similar to a very early Porsche. All of the fasteners, nuts and bolts appear to be of German manufacture. The buyer was told that two cars were built and one crashed and burned in a race in Berlin in 1955. I have no way of knowing if that statement was true. I am attaching two photos that will show the general shape of the car. The windshield had replaced a small racing windscreen for road touring in the early 60's. I have more photos that show more detail if anyone wishes to examine them. I am hoping some one can identify this car. The best guess I have heard was a Swiss hill climb car that was built with a Lancia factory provided drive train.
